The Last Month

Hey hey! It’s so good to see you! Boy oh boy has life been wild recently—Truly just bananas.

Most of the time, I go by ‘Coach Kay,’ a name I’ve picked up since signing onto a year of service in Title I schools. I teach 3rd grade and absolutely adore my students. But it would be a lie to say it hasn’t been hard to balance my 50 hour work week and a budding music career too. I’m employed through AmeriCorp, so this line of work isn’t for the weak lol!

It’s been the most exhausting and rewarding experience of my life, and I couldn’t be more thankful to be part of my kiddos’ life stories. Being their ‘Coach Kay’ has brought me so much joy (and frustration lol), it’s hard to put it all into words.

I would love love LOVE to talk about some of the funniest moments I’ve had with my kiddos soon, but I need to get back to lesson planning for a bit.

I’m thinking of selling some of my artwork to help fund my move to Los Angeles—Only a few more months until I’m on the West Coast!
